During her official visit to the Lagos Liaison Office from 22nd to 25th April 2018 UNFPA Representative, Dr Diene Keita met with staff of the office, some members of the Youth Participatory Platform (YPP), and visited the Central Contraceptive Warehouse and the Young Mom's Clinic. She also met with former President of Nigeria, Chief Olusegun Obasanjo and visited some youth hubs in Lagos (Civic Hive and Pearls Africa). The Rep appreciated UNFPA's program delivery, successes and challenges in the Southwest and highlighted areas for program enhancement. She was particularly impressed by LLO's work at the Young Moms’ Clinic that takes care of pregnant adolescents and offers them a second chance to a fulfilled life. Her visit to the the CCW and the “Warehouse in a box” in Oshodi was quite enlightening.
